Kolkata GNU/Linux User Group


What is it?

User Groups originated in 1970s as physical places where users of a certain technology met to share their knowledge. With the creation of the GNU/Linux operating system, GLUGs started flourishing in the 90s and later with the spread of internet, many user groups grew up on the internet. More info on GLUGs here.

We are Kolkata GLUG, an user group started in 2022 and based in Kolkata, India. However people from all over the world are welcome to join us. We started online but hope to organize physical meetups in the near future, essentially we follow "hybrid model".
